Magnificent Milan

Painless flight with no issues (unlike London AKA bag fiasco), we arrived in Milan and checked into the Airbnb with little issue. Soon after my parents flew in and met us in the station (the whole trip was actually created by my dad’s initiative) and we settled in to the fact that we were in MILAN! It felt a little surreal to me that this was all real, a few weeks ago I had been cramming for finals and now I was in one of the most iconic cities in the world! We were only staying in Milan for 2 nights so it was only a short while.

The First night was relaxed with no plans, except having an exquisite Italian dinner and gelato. Needless to say, both the dinner and gelato was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G, (Hands down, the best carbonara I ever had).

The entirety of the second day was spent seeing the sights. A walking tour of the city brought us all over the area, from the gigantic cathedral with surreal architecture to small corners where we found amazing pizza and gelato (Italians really know their way around food). We were so worn out by the day’s activities we had to take a short rest before venturing out for Dinner. In a happy coincidence, I managed to meet my friend Aliss (lives slightly outside Milan) for a short while on the second evening and she showed me around some of the less known attractions of Milan :DDDD

Milan was sickkk and it was hard to leave, soooooo lucky for me I get to come back later in the trip (stay tuneeed)
