Arrival In LA

After a short flight i was in Los Angeles!! The aiport (LAX) was huge but luckily there were clear instructions and i managed to find my Uber painlessly. It took more than an hour to reach the hostel! The distance from the airport was crazy and i was so glad i did not take public transport, with my two big suitcases that would have been a disaster. The first hostel i checked into was the Orange Drive Hostel. It was pretty bad as the room were cramped and there was only one toilet servicing quite a few guests on the floor. However, the location was sublime! It was a 2 minute walk away from the center of Hollywood Boulevard, one of the main attractios in LA. On the first evening i was able to see most of the street, including the famous theatres such as El Capitan’s Theatre, Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, the Dolby Digital Theatre and so on. The new Mummy movie was premiering the next day and there was this huge Mummy statue near Hollywood Boulevard. Managed to see the Walk of Fame as well which was pretty cool that i finally got to an attraction that i’ve only ever seen pictures off.
