It had come to the last two days of my time in Denver. The penultimate day was similar to Garden of the Gods day where i mainly hung out at hime, worked out in Derrick’s gym and played with Sophie. When both Derrick and Akka was back we all headed to a nearby park. While my Sister and Sophie headed for a walk around the park, Derrick and I played a little football at the goalposts in the park. It was good to kick a ball again after so long (despite the number of miscued shots i had HAHA). Sophie was strangely interested in the football yet at the same time terrified of the ball , which added up to adorable comedy.
The last day was basically just exploring the city side of Denver. Derrick dropped me off on the way to work. I began by exploring the State Capitol Building of Colorado which looked pretty ordinary from the outside but so magnificent on the inside. It was such a world of difference. The guided tour was really good and helped me to understand some of the history of Colorado. The beauty of the building really cannot be understated. The view from the top was quite awesome as well (the tour ends with a climb to the top of the Capitol). After the State Capitol, i headed over to the Museum of Nature and Science. It was similar to other History Museums i had visited but it had various interesting exhibits. The Dinosaur exhibit was by far my favourite. The precious stones exhibit was interesting as well as some parts were tied to the history of Colorado.
Leaving Austin was tough and leaving Denver was just as hard. I’ve had so much fun in Denver and both my Sister Anandani and Derrick made me feel so at home here ❤️. Going to miss them so much 😦 . It brings me pain when i see other dogs because of how much i miss Sophie 😦
Only thing giving me comfort is that i will hopefully be back here in less than 2 years.
