Back In Austin!

After my 5 days in Vegas, i was back in Austin. I am absolutely loving it here and i am also so disappointed (in myself) that this is my first visit at the age of 22. The day after i landed, one of my sisters, Archnashree flew into Austin!! She came a week earlier than the rest (rest of the gang would be coming in for memorial day weekend). Was so happy to hang out with her again! It was a pretty chill week.

On Monday i did a hike through the Barton Greenbelt Trail! The weather was good and the scenery was beautiful. Did get lost once but after applying some of the skills that were honed in the past two years, i found my way through the trail. The lakes were especially gorgeous. Total distance covered would be around 5-6 Miles.

On Tuesday, the four of us headed to the San Marcos Outlet Malls. The Outlet Mall was so huge! They had pretty much everything any shopper would want and the sales made it so much cheaper that it would be normally. I spent a good 1.5 hours just exploring the mall and had not even bought anything yet! I’m not the sharpest dresser so lucky for me i had my Aunt and Sister there with me to help pick out some items, really grateful for that 😀

On Friday, Akka (word for sister) took us all to the movies for the much-anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. The movie was great but the experience at the Cinema completely blew me away. The large popcorn was so big that i barely got through half of it (it was bigger than my face). The seats could recline till we were basically lying down and watching the movie. The best part, was that this was a normal movie-going experience. So so awesome.
