So it’s Sunday! And it’s time for a road trip to Baltimore!
My sister Amrietha rented a car, picked both myself and my other sister, Archnashree, and we were off to Baltimore! It was a nice, scenic hour ride. We spent the first hour or so walking around the harbor, exploring the area in general. It was really nice, with a cooler temperature than D.C. with such a nice breeze. After waking around we headed over to another part of Baltimore to have some crabs! Both of my sisters were quite familiar with the city so they brought me to their favourite crab place and needless to say the crabs were sublime. The shrimp and onion rings were so good as well (yumz). The service was so nice as well, which is a recurring pattern throughout my travels in the states 🙂
After lunch, we headed over to American Visionary Art Museum, which was a pretty unique experience. We did not enter the museum itself but there were so many pieces of art outside. It was really interesting to see so many different pieces of outside art display. Following the museum we headed to get some pie (Baltimore Bomb pie by Dangerously Delicious was so good), found seats by the water and just chilled 🙂 On the way back to D.C. we stopped by Washington National Cathedral , which looked like a grand castle and had a garden to match. After exploring the cathedral and it’s grounds we headed back. Was pretty sad saying goodbye to my two sisters (even tho i am going to see them at my aunt’s place at the end of the month HAHA), they had made my stay in D.C. so much better 🙂 Time for a new adventure in Austin!
