After the exhausting day at Hollywood Studios, we decided to sleep in a bit but we were eventually at the park by 10. Magic Kingdom closes at 11pm so we had plenty of time. I did manage to arrive just in time to use my fast pass for the famous Space Mountain ride. The only word to describe it, was trippy. It was so trippy with the twist and turns on the rollercoaster in the dark. Besides Space Mountain, there many other rides like the Buzz Lightyear Space Command ride, Splash mountain, Seven Dwarf Mine ride and so on. The rides were thrilling but i felt that the rides were not what set this place apart from everywhere else. Magic Kingdom just oozed of Disney Magic. First, there was the stunning castle in the center that is synonymous with Disney. Second, there were so many characters all over the park! We met Mickey, Aladdin, Jasmine, Ariel, Belle, Meredith (Brave), Chip, Dale and Tinker Bell. These were just the characters we met! There was a huge parade at mid-day where so many Disney characters came out on moving stages that highlighted their movies. There were platforms for Beauty and the Beast, Princes and the Frog, Cinderella, Frozen, Peter Pan, Tangled, Brave, Sleeping Beauty (which was stunning due the huge fire-breathing dragon that it had), Alice in Wonderland and so on. So we had a spectacular time throughout the day meeting the characters, attending the parade and going on rides. Then it came down to the finale. The first one was beyond belief with the fireworks behind the castle as well as songs and quotes from the famous movies. I literally had goosebumps throughout the show. When it ended, most people left but they had no idea what they were missing. About 30 minutes later, there was another show with less fireworks but with projections of scenes from famous songs that carried the central theme of dreams coming through. I cannot begin to explain the magic one feels during both the finales but i felt so privileged to have spent time at this Disney park. My childhood desire to visit Disney World had been accomplished.
